DATE: Georgian, c.1800

A stunning Georgian envelope charm that opens to reveal a small locket compartment within. It's elaborately embellished all over with a combination of applied floral and beaded three-tone goldwork, intricate hand-chased leaves, a matte textured background, and two Persian turquoise cabochons. Suspended from a chain at each of the top corners, it's survived in excellent condition (created circa 1800) and remains wearable as either a charm or pendant.
