A captivating crystal opal with orange undertones and green fire brought to life in an elaborate antique gold mounting.

The ring is 14k gold with hand set leaves atop the mounting and hand twisted wire around the band. The mounting dates to the early 1900s; however, the crystal opal is a later replacement stone.

The dramatic ring measures 1.8 inches from top to bottom by 0.65 inches wide.

It is marked 14k and bears a maker's mark of TN on the underside of the mounting. It is currently a size 4.5 and cannot be re-sized without losing a bit of the twisted wire ornament that surrounds the band.
